The Tāmaki regeneration project will see around 2,500 of the existing 2,800 social houses being redeveloped over a 15 year timeframe to deliver approximately 7,500 new dwellings. These new dwellings will comprise a mix of social housing, affordable housing and private market housing.
Development is well underway in the Glen Innes area, and planning is underway for new projects to commence in the Point England and Panmure areas.
To date, 411 new homes have been delivered through the regeneration programme, including 139 state homes and 58 affordable homes.
There will be lots of exciting new developments in Tāmaki over the next few years. This is the place to keep up to date with what’s happening in your neighbourhood and in the wider Tāmaki community.
